My athlete has no experience pole vaulting. Will they still be able to join?

YES! We love coaching beginners of all ages.My child does not have spikes. Will they still be able to participate?

Absolutely. We recommend spikes when they get to the high school level, but spikes are not necessary at the beginner - intermediate level.Is pole vaulting dangerous?

Like any other sport, athletes are always at risk for injury. Our coaching staff is trained and has extensive knowledge on safe techniques, and athlete safety is a priority. We pride ourselves in educating best practices to prevent and minimize injuries. I am only available to participate for a portion of the summer. Can I pay a prorated price?

Up & Running Club prides itself on keeping the cost of the training a low rate compared to other track clubs, even amidst the rising prices. Our funds are used to purchase more equipment. At this time, we are unable to offer prorated prices.Why do I need to purchase a USATF membership for my athlete?

It is mandatory that all athletes obtain or renew a USATF membership for liability purposes. Athletes who do not sign up for a USATF yearly membership will not be allowed to participate in any practices or meets with Up & Running.
